The flag carrier of Austria, Austrian Airlines AG is having its headquarters on the grounds of Vienna International Airport in Schwechat. The airline is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Group and in the year 2016 the airline flew to six domestic and more than 120 international destinations year-round. Founded in the year 1957, the airline was formed via a merger of Austrian Airways and Air Austria. Austrian Airlines is a member of Star Alliance and has been flying to more than 120 international destinations across 55 countries. In the year 2015, Tyrolean Airways, an Austrian-based airline, was merged into Austrian Airlines, which took over all the Tyrolean's routes.

I was really scared to book tickets on 247Traveltechinc as I haven’t heard of this website from any one! I spoke to Ted and he was very polite and courteous. All my fears were gone as I got my flight tickets in the email while on call only. The fares were non-refundable though and it’s very understandable.

Austria Airlines has been offering its passengers with over 350 hours of video and audio on demand and you can even enjoy all favourite TV shows while travelling with
the airline. With wide variety of sports entertainment to your favourite series, passengers can even watch movies that're award-winning films in English, German and
French language.
Passengers travelling in the airlines' Premium Economy class are offered welcome drinks upon boarding, along with a three-course meal (depending on route). On the long-haul
flights, passengers are also offered a second meal, such as a breakfast or a snack. Business Class guests can enjoy the ultimate premium dining experience, with three
choices of main meals and a selection of dessert and cheese.
Carry-on Baggage: Passengers travelling in Economy Class, Premium Economy Class are permitted 1 carry-on with 8Kg weight. The only exception being the Business Class
passengers who are permitted 2 carry-ons with 8Kg weight. All standard carry-on baggage must not exceed the following measurements: 21.6 x 15.7 x 9 inches (55 x 40 x 23 cm).
Checked Baggage: All checked bags carried by passengers must be less than 23 Kgs of weight and fit within the dimensions of 158cm, when combining the width, height and depth.
A customer's checked baggage allowance in Austria Airlines depends on a number of factors including the route, cabin class, and ticket fare. Your baggage allowance will be
confirmed only during the reservation process, as and when, it will also be possible to add extra bags if needed.

Web Check-in: Austrian Airlines passengers can check in for their Austrian flights online and it can be done from 47 hours before scheduled departure time for most flights. Passengers can do the complete check-in online from the Austrian Airlines website. Airport Check-in: Austrian Airlines passengers can also check in at the airport for their Austrian flights and just need to visit a self-service check-in desk, or a check-in counter where you can complete the check-in process. Make sure you're aware of check-in open and closing times of the departure airport, as outlined on your ticket, as passengers in Economy and Business will often have different check-in deadlines.
