Air New Zealand's Baggage Policy/Baggage Fee

Carry-on Baggage: Passengers on Air NZ should ensure the total of carry-on baggage on Air New Zealand is up to 46.5 inches (118cm) only. In Economy Class, the passengers are permitted to 1 carry-on bag and a small item such as a thin laptop or handbag and the weight is maximum of 7kg. Whereas, Premium Economy and Business Premier are permitted 2 carry-on bags including one small item. These carry-on bags can be up to 14kg in total, with one of the bags weighing a maximum of 10kg.
Checked-in Baggage: Each passenger on Air NZ is permitted to carry check-in a bag that weighs up to 23kg (50Ib) and you have an option to purchase a pre-paid extra bag. The passenger should ensure the size of checked-in baggage should be up to 158cm.

American Airlines Check-in information

Online check-in for American Airlines domestic flights is available from 24 hours prior to departure to 45 minutes prior to departure (or 90 minutes for airport check-in Airport check-in is 60 minutes possible before departure) until departure for international flights and 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights Please report to the American Airlines check-in counter to initiate check-in at the airport. Passengers can request for priority check-in through AA reservations.
