The inaugural flight of the Virgin Atlantic took off from Gatwick Airport to Newark International Airport on 22 June 1984.

I was really scared to book tickets on 247Traveltechinc as I haven’t heard of this website from any one! I spoke to Ted and he was very polite and courteous. All my fears were gone as I got my flight tickets in the email while on call only. The fares were non-refundable though and it’s very understandable.

Virgin Atlantic Airways flights permit the carry-on bags to customers as per their class of travel.
• For passengers traveling in Economy and Premium Economy, they can have 1 carry-on bag with maximum dimension 22 x 14 x 9 inches and maximum weight 22 lbs.
• For passengers traveling in Upper Class, they can have 2 carry-on bags with maximum dimension 22 x 14 x 9 inches and maximum weight 22 lbs for one bag and 36 lbs for both combined.
Passengers with Virgin Atlantic Airways reservations are permitted to carry checked baggage basis their class of travel:
• For the Economy Class Passengers, they can carry 1 bag with maximum dimension 35.5 x 29.5 x 16 inches and maximum weight 51 lbs.
• For the Premium Economy Passengers, they can carry 2 bags with maximum dimension 62 linear inches and maximum weight 50 lbs each.
• For the Upper Class Passengers, they can carry 3 bags with maximum dimension 62 linear inches and maximum weight 70 lbs.
Earn miles on every reservation of the Virgin Atlantic Flight tickets, by joining "Flying Club"- the Frequent Flyer Program" of the airline. Once you become member this loyalty program managed by the airline, you get entitled to many complimentary benefits offered on board as well as at the airport. The membership of this club has been spread into three tiers that include Red tier, Silver tier, and Gold tier. The only way the passenger can move up to Silver or Gold Tier in Virgin America is by earning Tier Points which you'll get when you fly. The more you fly with Virgin Atlantic, the more Tier Points you'll earn.
